It’s back to school for my kids and hubby next month. Yes, even hubby will start attending school. He will be taking up Biomedical Equipment Repair and Maintenance classes at the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA by June.
So instead of me attending to two kids every morning, there will be three of them to prepare breakfast and snacks to school.
It will be a big adjustment on hubby’s part as he will study a lot of stuff about installation, maintenance and repair, calibration, and even design of biomedical equipment.
Some of the familiar examples of biomedical equipment include Radiographic and flouroscopic x-ray, Diagnostic ultrasound, LASERs, Mammography, Telemedicine, Film image processing, point of care carts, Nuclear Medicine, Gamma cameras, among others.
My husband works in a publishing company. Part of his job is to maintain an archive of all printed materials in digital postscript file. These files are distilled and converted into PDF. You can just imagine how big these files are and retrieval is difficult without a systematized method. What my husband needs is software called pdf page counter to manage the PDF archive.

Sometimes advertisers and columnists are requesting for PDF copy of their published articles or ad campaign material. With a good PDF management system, file retrieval will be a breeze.
I’ve always wanted to wear a dress especially during those years when I’m still slimmer. I remember I purchased a black dress at Ever Gotesco in preparation for an important event. I didn’t get to wear the dress because I’m not comfortable wearing it. It’s a little stretchy but clingy and hugs the body. I end up wearing a pair of dress pants or slacks and a comfortable top to the event. I put on some custom lapel pins to accentuate my plain shirt.
If I could wear a casual dress now, I would choose any or all four dresses here. They look chic and comfortable. 🙂
