Since Christmas is a time to give the people in your life something that they will enjoy, consider creating a bouquet made of candy. These colorful creations can be made for any age, gender, and with any kind of candy that you think the person will enjoy. You can position the candies in a basket on craft sticks or arranged as a bouquet with crafts sticks, similar to what you would create using flowers.
The first thing to consider when you’re making candy bouquets would be the container that you’re going to use. For a Christmas bouquet, you want to use something like white, green, or red. Use a few flowers that are the same color or a few that are a contrasting color to the container. Try to find candies that are decorated with Christmas wrappers to keep with the theme. Think about whether you want to use large candies, smaller ones, or a combination so that you have everything you need to make your bouquet.
Using hot glue, connect each candy to a craft stick. The stick that you use should be large enough to support the candy but slender enough so that it can be hidden from view. Set each piece aside until it dries. Arrange your candies in a fun way or in a way that is charming and elegant depending on who will receive the bouquet. As you get more comfortable making these gifts, you can add your own personal touches to them as well as a few other gifts that you think the person would enjoy. Try to use candies that are age-appropriate. Think about any diet issues that the person faces, such as sugar-free or candies that are soft and easy to chew. Give your bouquet soon after you make it so that the candy stays fresh.
My kids say they wish I could bake so I can make them delicious cakes and cookies. As much as I wanted to bake, I don’t have an oven or a cooking range and other stuff necessary for baking. I may have a mixer and a mixer lift at home, but that’s all I have. It would be easier to bake if I have a complete set of accessories for baking. As for goodies to bake, I can always research for recipes on the internet. If we have an oven, spending on take out would surely be minimized plus there is an option to cook more healthy meals.
